Wrapping up the week with a very kind review of the "Younger Man" video which released this week. Putting the project together with Jason was solid and full of a grace he just seems to carry. We met up for tacos and talked about becoming fathers (our kids attended the same Greenpoint pre-school years ago). We reflected on growing up in the 80s and he gave me access to 2+ hours of family 8mm footage. The emotions of the track carry some weight, I tried to put that on screen.
This one was down (in a basement) and dirty (seven boxes of cake mix, 2 dozen eggs and a blender). Special thanks to a magical set of hands in Jason Dirnberger for camera assisting and pinch hitting in the cake and special effects department.
